One BMW, one integrated upgrade project
This BMW visited GP Motor Works for a combined interior-technology and exterior-lighting upgrade. The infotainment display, driver-information presentation and headlights were upgraded as part of the same workshop project. The original and completed project media document the vehicle before the work, the updated dashboard and media screen, and the completed exterior-lighting upgrade.
The BMW before the upgrade
The vehicle’s original condition was documented before work began. This provided a reference for the existing dashboard layout, original multimedia equipment, available control interfaces and exterior-lighting presentation before the combined upgrade was carried out.
Infotainment and digital-display upgrade
The interior upgrade modernised the BMW’s central multimedia display and digital driver-information experience while maintaining a clean, integrated dashboard appearance. The updated display gives the cabin a more contemporary presentation, and the completed interior photograph shows the upgraded screen, steering wheel, instrument display and surrounding dashboard trim together.

The completed media-screen video documents the upgraded multimedia interface inside the same vehicle. It provides a direct view of the installed display and demonstrates the finished in-car technology presentation following the upgrade.
Dashboard fitment and electronic integration
A professional BMW multimedia installation needs to account for the original head unit, dashboard mounting points, display compatibility, power supply, steering-wheel controls, audio functions and communication with the vehicle’s existing electronics. After installation, the workshop checks screen clarity, the response of the applicable controls and whether the vehicle’s existing functions continue to operate correctly.
Headlight and exterior-lighting upgrade
The same BMW also received an exterior-lighting upgrade as part of this combined project. BMW lighting systems can involve model-specific headlamp assemblies, daytime running lights, control modules, wiring and electronic monitoring, making component compatibility and correct installation essential.

Electrical, safety and final handover checks
Both upgrades depend on reliable integration with the BMW’s electrical systems. Appropriate final checks include multimedia operation, electronic warning messages, low and high beam, indicators, daytime running lights and any automatic or adaptive lighting functions fitted to the vehicle. Headlight alignment, secure dashboard fitment and overall system operation are assessed before the completed vehicle is handed back.
