Mercedes Benz C200 AMG Not Starting – Diagnostics
A client who regularly gets her BMW serviced by us suggested to her husband that he bring his Mercedes Benz in because the vehicle was not starting at all.
We conducted a diagnostic test to trace and isolate the fault and found the starter motor was not turning over. Upon further physical examination in which we had to remove the gearbox completely, we found the flexplate was in two pieces.
We replaced the flexplate and the vehicle was good to go.
