Mercedes Benz E320 Air Conditioner Regas
Our client brought in their Mercedes Benz E320 into GP Motor Works because the air conditioner was no longer providing cold air. He suspected the aircon compressor was possibly faulty due to the age of the vehicle.
Once we tested and ensured the compressor was functioning correctly, we proceeded with the air-con regas procedure. The air-con machine is connected via two hoses; one for high pressure and the other low pressure. The air-con machine first removes all the residual gas (refrigerant) from the system. It then cycles into the vacuum stage. This ensures there are no leaks and also removes any moisture and impurities from the system. Finally, fresh gas and oil is injected into the system.
Why You Should Not Use Roadside Air-con Regas Suppliers
Simply put, these suppliers you see on the roadside do not have the equipment or expertise to carry out a proper air-con regas. All they do is connect gas bottle and top-up the gas in your system. None of the testing, moisture and impurity removal takes place. This very often leads to future air-con system failure which is going to cost you a lot to repair.
