Mini JohnCooperWorks Windows, Indicators & Lights Not Working
This client brought their Mini John Cooper Works into our workshop at GP Motor Works after the windows, indicators and lights suddenly stopped working.
We conducted a diagnostic test and established the footwell module was faulty. We traced the fault on the pc board and repaired it.
Besides the footwell module, the other issue we identified is the right-hand side electric window motor was also faulty. It is operating back to front. This is being tested but will probably result in the motor being replaced.
One of the services we offer to our clients is the ability to successfully repair these faulty footwell modules rather than having to replace them. This literally saves our clients a significant amount.
In this particular instance, the replacement cost of a footwell module is around R9000. Our recondition service saved the client almost R6000.
